Don has had a lifetime of varied professional activities. Most of his efforts have been focused on real estate (as a broker for several companies he started) and education (both for the Kansas Association of Realtors and with the Flint Hills Technical College.) Don works with the Sela Group as an advisor to improve operations and develop business opportunities.

Don and his wife Lucie have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren. In addition to volunteering at his local church, Don enjoys traveling - either to visit his international grandchildren or to add to his list of favorite craft beers….or both.
