Having previous business experience, Jacob obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business majoring in Accounting from Emporia State University in 2019. Following this, he worked as a graduate assistant for ESU while obtaining his Master of Accountancy (amid the COVID pandemic). He has been with Sela Group since late 2021, where he works as an Account Manager.

Jacob is married and his wife is a nurse at Newman Regional Health. Together they have one little girl (for the time being). In his spare time, Jacob enjoys playing the guitar and disc golf and most importantly spending time with his lovely family.
