Prior to founding Sela Group, Tamir spent more than a decade with Madanes Insurance Agency Ltd, the largest insurance agency in Israel, as head of sales and commercial account management Division.

In 2018, Tamir relocated to the US to his wife’s home state of Kansas. Drawing on his experience, knowledge, and international connections he founded Sela Group, an independent agency specializing in cyber, professional and management liability solutions.

Tamir is a veteran of the Israeli Air Force, where he graduated from the Air Force Academy of Instruction with honors and achieved the rank of Sergeant Major. Tamir is a Kansas resident, a United States Citizen, an independent Insurance Agent/ Producer/Broker with a multi-state Property and Casualty and Surplus license, a member of the Israeli Bar Association, and a licensed mediator.
